## Description

The Climate Adaptation Platform (CAP) is an information and networking hub that brings people and organisations together to support collective action on climate change adaptation and its impacts. Serving audiences in New Zealand and worldwide, it is intended for individuals, communities, government, practitioners, researchers, NGOs, funders, insurers, and other groups working on climate resilience.

CAP helps visitors learn, share knowledge, and connect with others involved in adaptation. Its resources include curated research papers, climate reports, practical case studies, advocacy reports, articles, and links to information from organisations such as the IPCC. Topics include adaptation strategy, sea-level rise, climate risk, resilience, infrastructure and asset management, and environmental solutions. The platform also promotes a networking directory to help users find organisations active in the field.

Alongside its publications, CAP features climate adaptation news and blog posts, and lists research and consulting services, seminars, workshops, and events. Through its e-newsletter and educational content, the platform aims to showcase good practice and encourage forward planning to protect communities, livelihoods, lifestyles, and economic resilience.
