## Description

Climate Code Red is an Australian climate-focused organisation and information platform calling for emergency-speed action to achieve a safe-climate, post-carbon future. It publishes analysis, commentary and resources on climate science, policy, security and the risks of accelerating global warming. Its website features articles by contributors including David Spratt and former defence leaders, examining topics such as extreme heat, El Niño, food security, climate tipping points and Australia’s preparedness for climate threats. Climate Code Red also shares publications, videos and audio, alongside links and contact information to support public engagement with climate issues. The organisation critiques established climate-policy approaches, including international negotiations and long-term targets, arguing that policy must better reflect the scale and urgency of climate risks. Its content is intended to inform discussion and encourage stronger responses from governments and other decision-makers. By connecting scientific evidence with the consequences for communities, ecosystems, infrastructure and national security, Climate Code Red presents climate change as an urgent, interconnected challenge requiring rapid and transformative action.
