## Description

The Climate Data Steering Committee (CDSC) is dedicated to addressing the global climate data challenge. Established by French President Emmanuel Macron and UN Special Envoy Michael R. Bloomberg, the CDSC is working towards accelerating the transition to a net-zero economy by improving the integrity, comparability, and transparency of climate data. Through initiatives like the Net-Zero Data Public Utility (NZDPU), the CDSC aims to provide a centralized repository for private sector climate data, facilitating global access and progress tracking. The recent release of the NZDPU Proof of Concept at COP28 demonstrates a significant leap towards achieving this goal. Stakeholders from various sectors, including financial institutions, civil society, and policymakers, are engaged in shaping the development of the NZDPU. Join the consultation to contribute to a sustainable and transparent future driven by high-quality climate data.
