## Description

Climate Investment (CI) is an independently managed specialist investor focused on technologies that can reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support the next generation of global infrastructure. Established by members of the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative, CI provides venture and growth equity to innovative companies working across energy, industry, transport and the built environment. It manages $1.8 billion in committed capital and combines investment with industry partnerships to help portfolio companies bring solutions to market, create value for infrastructure owners and achieve measurable climate impact.

CI focuses on high-emission sectors and underserved areas where scalable technologies can contribute to decarbonization. Its support extends beyond financing to include commercial deployment, access to capital, portfolio growth and potential exits. The organization works with investors and industrial partners to connect companies with opportunities for pilots and commercial contracts. CI assesses investment opportunities for both value creation and impact, then collects portfolio data annually, with results reviewed by an independent third party.
