## Description

The Clinton Annual Ball Committee is a volunteer community organization dedicated to planning and hosting the historic Clinton Annual Ball in Clinton, British Columbia. Its purpose is to preserve the event’s heritage for local businesses and residents while maintaining its distinction as Canada’s oldest continuously running event of its kind. First held on New Year’s Day in 1868 at the Clinton Hotel, the Ball has brought the community together for more than 150 years, adapting through changing times while retaining its traditions of dance, celebration, and social gathering. Today, the Committee organizes the annual event, shares its history and past Ball photographs, and provides information and ticket sales for upcoming celebrations. The 160th Clinton Annual Ball is scheduled for May 22, 2027, at Clinton Memorial Hall, with cocktails, dinner, and dancing to live music by Vic’s Dance Band. Tickets are offered at $85 per person.
