## Description

ClipAgent is an AI video-clipping service for creators who want to turn long videos into social-ready short clips. Running in a web browser, it requires no installation or personal AI keys. Users upload video files, and the platform transcribes the audio, identifies and ranks promising moments, then creates vertical 9:16 clips for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok. Its tools include speaker-aware cropping, viral-moment scoring, 15 caption styles, optional smart emoji captions, and overlays for a brand logo or handle. Users can review clips, choose captions, and render and download 1080×1920 MP4s, with unlimited re-renders for each video. ClipAgent also offers API and MCP access, including connections for Claude Desktop and Claude Code. Plans range from a free allowance of one video per month to paid monthly options for higher volumes, and one-time credit packs are available. Paid plans start at $12 per month; credits for failed jobs are automatically refunded. Uploads are private to the user’s account and are not used to train models or published on their behalf.
