## Description

CLLEVERT develops a patented capillary liquid–liquid extraction insert for faster, more efficient sample preparation. Created as an alternative to conventional solid-phase extraction and manual liquid–liquid extraction, the device separates immiscible liquid phases using a selectively hydrophilic or hydrophobic capillary orifice. Its frit- and membrane-free design helps recover the entire sample without analyte retention, while reducing solvent and sample use by up to tenfold compared with SPE columns.

The insert supports parallel processing in 96-well plate-compatible workflows and can operate under atmospheric pressure or centrifugal force, with separation taking tens of seconds. Its variants are designed to fit existing laboratory workflows and can be used for bench-top or automated processing. CLLEVERT serves potential applications in biomedical and research laboratories, pharmaceutical production, food science, and environmental testing. The brand offers product information, application notes, free demo samples, and licensing opportunities, including collaboration on further development. CLLEVERT is a joint venture of Medirekt Partner and i&i Prague; the technology’s intellectual property is held by the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.
