## Description

Cloud8 is an SRE and platform engineering consultancy serving CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and engineering managers at scaleups. It helps organizations build reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient platforms without the overhead of enterprise-level investments. Its services include platform engineering expertise, coaching for SRE and platform engineering managers in leadership, talent management, and hiring, and fractional Head of Platform support. Cloud8 also helps clients strengthen incident management, moving from reactive firefighting toward automated detection, self-healing remediation, lower mean time to recovery, and blameless post-incident reviews. For cloud cost control, it uses AI-powered analysis and automation to identify savings opportunities, establish FinOps practices, and encourage cost-aware engineering. Cloud8’s engagement process begins with an SRE maturity assessment, followed by prioritization of high-impact improvements and hands-on implementation alongside the client’s team. Knowledge transfer is built into delivery through practical collaboration, documentation, training, and processes, enabling teams to maintain and grow their platforms independently. Cloud8 offers free consultations and lists contact locations in Lyon and London.
