## Description

Cloudscaling is the technology brand behind a blog authored by Randy Bias, featuring commentary on cloud computing, infrastructure, and software operations. Its articles explore topics including OpenStack, cloud-native applications, containers, hypervisors, storage, and DevOps practices. Rather than presenting a current product catalogue or service offering, the site shares analysis, explanations, and perspectives for readers interested in how cloud technologies are designed and operated. Posts discuss ideas such as continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous response, and the “pets versus cattle” analogy for managing infrastructure. The blog also covers developments involving EMC, including its work with OpenStack and storage projects such as ScaleIO and CoprHD. Bias describes founding and leading Cloudscaling, an OpenStack-focused company that EMC acquired in 2014. The site’s articles reflect that background in cloud infrastructure and open-source technology, while also addressing related industry changes. In 2017, Bias wrote about Wallarm’s approach to cloud-native application security and said he had joined the company as an advisor.
