Its guiding philosophy, “Teach Every Man’s Child,” centers on using basketball to support urban youth and young adults through discipline, sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive role models. The organization views playground basketball, known locally as “The City Game,” as both an athletic activity and a way to teach responsibility, self-discipline, and fundamental basketball skills. Cloverdale’s roots include the Cloverdale Summer Basketball League, organized in 1958 as Baltimore’s first playground league to feature college, high school, professional, and local talent. The league and the Baltimore Basketball Association later merged to form Cloverdale AC/BBA, Inc. Its work includes youth basketball and organized playground programs, with participants expected to contribute their time, talent, and discipline. The organization also shares information about its history, programs, events, and media, including videos highlighting basketball activities and Cloverdale’s community story. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Basketball _(under Sports)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idN26PsHCn/w/998/h/198/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793611736429) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Goblin | #3f7c43 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Mint Green | #7fff7f | light | ## Fonts - serif — asset _(custom)_ - serif — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
