## Description

CLPHA is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing public and affordable housing in the United States. With over 75 innovative and forward-thinking public housing authorities as members, CLPHA works tirelessly to advocate, conduct research, analyze policies, and educate the public about the importance of housing. Representing nearly 40 percent of the nation's public housing stock and administering over a quarter of the Housing Choice Voucher program, CLPHA plays a crucial role in providing rental assistance to low-income households across the country. In addition to offering vital services to these households, CLPHA is committed to cross-sector collaboration through their Housing Is Initiative. By aligning housing, education, and health organizations, CLPHA aims to improve long-term outcomes for individuals and families in poverty. Their programs focus on various aspects such as education, health, digital equity, and research and innovations. CLPHA's legislative and policy work gives a voice to public housing residents, working to improve housing communities and addressing current issues. By strengthening partnerships and building strong communities, CLPHA believes housing authorities are essential to enhancing outcomes for individuals, families, and communities.
