## Description

The Community Living Society (CLS) is a community-based organization that supports people with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries to live meaningful lives as full citizens. Founded by families, CLS works to help individuals pursue their goals, build relationships and participate in their communities. Its services include staffed homes, supported and independent living, and home sharing, along with community inclusion and individualized supports. CLS also offers L.I.F.E. and employment services, plus planning and support focused on individual needs and quality of life. Its approach includes active support and individual service and quality-of-life planning. Through PotteryWorks and Studio Seventy Three, CLS supports artists to develop their creative skills and produce artwork that is exhibited and sold in the Lower Mainland and online. The organization also shares news and resources, describes its commitment to quality, and invites community members to become members or contribute. CLS values the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of its employees and seeks people who respect the rights, aspirations and potential of people with disabilities.
