## Description

Club Ariel Barcelona is a social and sports club centered on table tennis, with a long history of bringing people together through sport, games and friendship. It was founded on 9 December 1936 by former pupils of Escola Pia Balmes, who continued meeting during the Spanish Civil War. Originally named Pink’s, the club became Ariel in 1939. Table tennis and bridge have been its main activities, and the club has won national championship titles in both.

In 2019, Ariel moved from Gran de Gràcia Street to Maignon Street, just above Plaça Lesseps. Its current premises span more than 700 square metres and include a 30-square-metre game room with tables, chairs, natural light and a separate setting for focused play.

The club offers free training, periodic school sessions, courses for children aged 8 to 15, and master classes for individuals or pairs. Club Ariel Barcelona welcomes people looking to learn, practise or enjoy table tennis and social activities in a friendly club environment.
