A member of Regroupement QuébecOiseaux, the club encourages birdwatching, promotes respect for wildlife and the environment, supports the protection of birds and their habitats, and raises public awareness of local birdlife. Members are expected to follow the group’s birding code of ethics. The COC brings bird enthusiasts together through conferences, guided outings, and shared observations. Its activities include visits to regional parks and natural areas, while meeting reports and birding news help members stay informed. The club also provides resources such as photo galleries, local birding information, and details about its calendar and membership. Its conservation involvement includes bird surveys, work connected with threatened species, collaboration with Héritage Saint-Bernard, and participation in the Audubon Christmas Bird Count. The club’s emblem is the Northern Cardinal, which also gave its former journal, Le Cardinal, its name. Based in Châteauguay, the COC welcomes people interested in learning about and observing birds. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Camping Scouting and Outdoors _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🐶 Birds _(under Pets and Animals)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/ornithococ) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idVtDjsONd/w/200/h/200/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793140138306) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idVtDjsONd/w/288/h/288/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793140138521) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Putty | #e8d47e | accent | | Desert | #a25b22 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - sans-serif — asset _(custom)_ - sans-serif — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
