## Description

Club Moana is a volunteer-run French association founded in 1957, dedicated to scuba diving, marine discovery and a welcoming community life. Its members and instructors organize boat-based dives, generally on weekends and public holidays, with occasional night dives in summer and additional outings for qualified divers. The club offers FFESSM diving courses at multiple levels, helping participants build skills and access new dive sites. Each year from October to June, it also runs children’s programs, including a sea-star school. Sessions combine fin swimming, underwater photography, marine biology and environmental learning, and scuba exercises; equipment is provided for the children’s program. Beyond diving, Club Moana encourages members to connect through events, hikes, photo competitions, trips and charitable activities. Its website shares club news, calendars, training information, dive locations, photographs, videos and administrative resources, alongside guidance on safety and the marine environment. As a nonprofit association, the club relies on the participation of its members and volunteer leadership.
