## Description

Club Nova is a nonprofit community center serving adults with serious mental illness in the Chapel Hill and Carrboro, North Carolina, area. Since 1987, it has welcomed people living with conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depression, creating opportunities for hope, belonging, dignity, and purpose. Guided by a Clubhouse model, the organization supports members in building skills, relationships, and greater independence within a welcoming community.

Its programs include employment support to strengthen financial independence and self-esteem, and education assistance for people pursuing certifications, diplomas, or degrees. Through its Work-Ordered Day, members contribute to the daily operation of the Clubhouse. Individualized Support helps members navigate needs such as health care and housing, while recreation encourages friendships and participation in the broader community. Club Nova also offers social opportunities, weekend activities, and ways for volunteers and employers to get involved. The organization welcomes visitors to tour its new building and invites community members to support its mission through donations.
