## Description

Cluj Connect Run is an official trail and urban running event held in Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania, bringing together city routes, forest trails and local community. Organized by Clubul Alpin Roman, Cluj Branch, with Garmin as its main partner, the event is scheduled for October 11, 2026, with races starting and finishing at Romulus Vuia Ethnographic Park. Its routes connect riverside green spaces and the cultural setting of the Ethnographic Museum with the trails of Hoia-Baciu Forest, offering participants a chance to experience familiar landscapes on foot. The program features four races: a 21K half marathon, a 10K cross-country race, a 5K run and a family race. The half marathon and 10K courses include a distinctive stair challenge on both descent and ascent. Cluj Connect Run provides race information, course maps, registration, results, schedules and updates for participants, alongside opportunities to volunteer at the start and finish area or along the course. The event welcomes athletes, families and outdoor enthusiasts.
