## Description

CMD-IT is a national Center for Minorities and People with Disabilities in Computing and Information Technology. With a vision to contribute to the national need for an effective workforce in computing and IT, CMD-IT fosters innovation through inclusion. Their programs, which include professional development, community enrichment, and information dissemination, are designed to ensure that underrepresented groups are fully engaged in computing while promoting innovation that enriches these communities. Upcoming events, such as the Tapia 2023 Conference in Dallas, TX and the LEAP Alliance Cohort 3 All Hands Meeting in Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport, IL, provide opportunities for networking and learning. CMD-IT also stays engaged in current topics, with recent news articles discussing the impact of the end of affirmative action on the future of computing and featuring conversations with Plenary Speakers. CMD-IT's dedication to fostering inclusivity and innovation in the field of computing is supported by grants from the National Science Foundation, Sloan Foundation, and Google.
