## Description

The Cluster of Microelectronics and Industrial Electronics Systems (CMIES) is an association based in Bulgaria that brings together stakeholders in the fields of microelectronics and industrial electronics. Their mission is to foster connections between these stakeholders in order to enhance the competitiveness of the Bulgarian ecosystem in microelectronics, nanoelectronics, and industrial electronics.

CMIES offers a range of services designed to support and promote the industry. They facilitate the dissemination of information among stakeholders and work to increase public awareness of their achievements. The cluster also focuses on building human resources and competence in microelectronics, nanoelectronics, and industrial electronics through training programs. Additionally, they provide support for research and development (R&D), business development, and the promotion of innovations in the micro- and nanoelectronics and industrial electronics sectors.

CMIES consists of five companies and five universities as its members, including renowned institutions such as the Technical University of Sofia and Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski." The cluster is managed by a dedicated Managing Board, led by Chairman Dimitar Nikolov.
