## Description

Centro Mario Molina (CMM) is a Chile-based research and development organization focused on building the capabilities needed to address air pollution and climate change in Latin America. Its work connects applied science and environmental innovation with efforts to improve quality of life, advance clean-air policies, and support the transition to cleaner energy. The center also emphasizes climate action and international collaboration, bringing together expertise and networks to develop practical responses to sustainability challenges.

CMM’s current development work includes a commercial cargo vehicle that combines battery power with green hydrogen. The hybrid vehicle architecture is designed to accommodate different applications, and the center has reported validating the architecture in Barcelona. CMM has also presented the vehicle at Hyvolution Chile, sharing progress on its hydrogen and battery technology.

Through its research, development projects, news updates, and transparency resources, the organization communicates its work and progress to the public. Based in Lampa, in Chile’s Metropolitan Region, Centro Mario Molina serves as a hub for applied environmental research and innovation with a regional outlook.
