## Description

The Center for Musculoskeletal Research (CSR) is a research community based at Massachusetts General Hospital and affiliated with Mass General Brigham and Harvard Medical School. Its mission is to support investigators, strengthen the impact of their research, encourage collaboration, and extend the reach of musculoskeletal science through outreach. The Center particularly welcomes early-career investigators and researchers from other disciplines with an interest in musculoskeletal research.

CSR provides access to specialized resource cores and research services, including clinical phenotyping, directed differentiation, histology and histomorphometry, high-resolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography, imaging and biomechanical testing, spatial transcriptomics, and musculoskeletal cell resources. Members can receive subsidized core rates, guidance from experienced faculty, and opportunities to connect with other bone scientists. The Center also offers funding opportunities, including core-related mini-grants, and supports the research community through events, publications, symposiums, and a Summer Scholars Program. Its website shares research news, career opportunities, protocols, and educational recordings, with some recordings reserved for members.
