## Description

The Centro Nacional de Productividad (CNP) is a Colombian nonprofit civil corporation dedicated to improving productivity, innovation, and competitiveness across the country’s economy. Founded in 1995 by the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia, it is a mixed-participation, autonomous organization governed by private law and science and technology regulations. Recognized by Colombia’s Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, the CNP is part of the national system for competitiveness, science, technology, and innovation.

The organization develops and transfers applied knowledge to businesses, sectors, territories, and communities. A central offering is its Modelo PIC, a management approach based on productivity, innovation, and competitiveness. The model aims to transform organizational thinking and build a lasting culture of value creation through creativity, innovation, talent, and organizational capabilities. The CNP also applies advanced social innovation models and emerging technologies to support change in companies and communities, while promoting the social appropriation of knowledge. Its work spans multiple regions and productive sectors in Colombia, with the broader goal of contributing to sustainable economic and social progress.
