## Description

Consiliul National Roman pentru Refugiati (CNRR) is a non-governmental organization founded in 1998 with public utility status since 2003. Their mission is to promote and defend human rights in general, with a specific focus on the rights of migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers through legal means. CNRR offers social assistance and legal counseling services within their specialized departments.

Their activities include providing specialized legal counseling to registered asylum seekers accommodated in various regional centers, as well as to those outside of the accommodation centers. They also assist vulnerable categories such as separated children, women, and elderly individuals. CNRR's lawyers and legal advisors specialize in asylum procedures to ensure improved legal assistance quality. Additionally, they provide up-to-date research and information regarding the situation in the countries of origin of asylum seekers.

CNRR organizes training courses for future practitioners in the field of legal and social assistance for these categories of interest. They also engage in lobbying and advocacy efforts to facilitate access to social benefits and services, labor market integration, Romanian citizenship acquisition, family reunification and other rights as prescribed by law.

For migrants subject to a return decision from Romanian territory, CNRR offers counseling, legal assistance, and interpretation services. They also collaborate with authorities and civil society in managing migration and asylum through bilateral and multilateral actions with neighboring countries.

By organizing seminars, round tables, and debates, CNRR actively contributes to addressing migration and asylum-related issues. They also provide career opportunities and job offers for interested individuals.

Overall, CNRR is dedicated to ensuring the protection of human rights for migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers through various services and collaborations.
