# cnsurname.com - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `cnsurname.com` ## Description Chinese Hundred Family Names Forum is an online community dedicated to Chinese surname heritage and family history. It provides discussion areas where members can explore surname origins and culture, genealogy and family records, ancestral roots, naming, clan connections, and surname information relevant to overseas Chinese communities. The forum is organized by surname, with sections covering both common and rare names, allowing visitors to browse existing discussions or exchange information with people interested in the same lineage. Alongside its community discussions, the site points users to Huashijia, a related surname information resource. Huashijia focuses on more systematic reference material, including surname origins, founding ancestors, historical administrative affiliations and ancestral halls, migration and distribution, notable historical figures, and genealogical documents. The wider site also lists surname directories and rankings, rare-surname references, name-generation tools, and versions of the Hundred Family Names in different formats and languages. Together, the forum and its linked resources serve people researching family backgrounds, learning about Chinese surname traditions, choosing names, or connecting with others around shared heritage. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Ancestry and Genealogy _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idjJ_rVS4L/w/450/h/73/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791404822115) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Rust | #ba350f | accent | | Hawaiian Tan | #8f5a18 | dark | | Rajah | #f3bb65 | light | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
