The Comparative Nutrition Society (CNS) is an established society dedicated to fostering communication among laboratory and field scientists across various disciplines with an interest in comparative nutrition. As a society, CNS aims to establish and promote a professional concept of comparative nutrition while encouraging education and professional development in this field. It represents a broad range of interests, including nutrition, physiology, metabolism, biochemistry, animal science, wildlife and marine biology, ecology, and all taxa including insects, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals.

CNS organizes biennial symposia, providing an opportunity for experts in the field to come together and share their research and knowledge. It also offers resources such as proceedings from previous symposia. The next symposium is scheduled for summer 2022.
