## Description

Coal Creek Poultry Auction is a family-owned local auction that began in 2010 in Lewis County, Washington. Based in Chehalis, the business brings together sellers and buyers of poultry and other farm-related goods. Its auctions feature a range of farm birds, eggs, rabbits, small pets, and miscellaneous animal-related items, including buckets and cages. Sellers can consign eligible items during Friday drop-off hours, with auctions held on Saturdays. The auction has also offered seller payments by cash or PayPal, with instructions for handling outstanding invoices as the business winds down.

After 16 years, owners Nathan and Krista have announced their retirement and the closure of Coal Creek Poultry Auction. The final auction is scheduled for August 29, 2026, following a final drop-off day on August 28. The owners say they value the relationships, shared experiences, and support of staff and patrons throughout the auction’s history. Customers can contact the business by phone, email, or Facebook for final auction details and payment arrangements.
