The Coalition for Behavioral Health is the umbrella advocacy and training association for New York's behavioral health community. With a mission to serve and support this community, they provide policy, advocacy, training, and technical assistance to over 100 community-based nonprofit behavioral health providers. Annually, they train 3,900 behavioral health workers and serve 600,000 New Yorkers with behavioral health diagnoses.

Their Center for Rehabilitation & Recovery (CRR) offers comprehensive training programs, which include updates on training content, FAQs, and a policy and training policy overview. The Coalition also focuses on policy and advocacy efforts, aiming to improve the regional addiction resource center and facilitate job opportunities for their members. They offer member resources, compliance forms, and timely coronavirus information.

The Coalition is proud to announce the merger with the Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Providers of New York State. Additionally, they present the New York Psychiatric Rehabilitation Training Academy, a three-year statewide initiative in collaboration with training partners to enhance outcomes for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges.
