## Description

**Campus Open Air Lübeck**

Campus Open Air Lübeck (COAL) is an annual music festival that embodies a unique celebration of community and culture. Originating in 2011 as part of the "Lübeck kämpft" initiative, the festival was initiated by the student body as a gesture of appreciation to the citizens of Lübeck for supporting the university. Organized by the Allgemeiner Studierendenausschuss (AStA) and supported by dedicated volunteers, COAL has grown into one of the largest festivals in Schleswig-Holstein.

Set against the backdrop of the University Campus Lübeck, the festival showcases a diverse lineup of bands spanning various genres, providing an incredible experience for students, local residents, and visitors. With free entry and a vibrant selection of food and drinks, COAL fosters an inviting atmosphere where everyone is welcome. The festival emphasizes respect and inclusivity, operating as a hate-free zone dedicated to creating a safe space for all attendees. Join us on May 23, 2025, for another memorable celebration of music and community spirit!
