# Coastal Board Gamers - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `coastalboardgamers.org.au` ## Description Coastal Board Gamers is a community group on Tasmania’s northwest coast, bringing people together to discover and enjoy modern board games. Its members share a passion for the hobby and welcome newcomers as well as experienced players, creating an inclusive place to unplug, learn and play. The group holds regular events on the first and third Saturdays of each month at Apex House, 3 Gollan Street, Ulverstone. Events include access to an extensive games library, with options for a wide range of ages and experience levels. The collection spans quick games of around 15 minutes, longer, more challenging euro games lasting two hours or more, and many choices in between. Dedicated hosts are happy to teach new players, and visitors can bring a favourite game or try something unfamiliar. A canteen offers drinks and chocolate, helping support the group’s projects. Coastal Board Gamers also presents Meeple Escape, a weekend board-gaming getaway that includes accommodation and meals.
