COBS, or the Comet Observation Database, is an innovative platform launched in 2010, maintained by Crni Vrh Observatory, designed to serve comet enthusiasts across the globe. This unique and complimentary service allows amateur astronomers to submit, view, and analyze their comet observations alongside professional data, filling a crucial gap in comet research where professional astronomers often lack the necessary telescope time. 

COBS boasts the largest publicly available database of comets, featuring over 280,400 observations related to more than 1,600 different comets.
