## Description

Cognitive & Behavioral Consultants (CBC) is a mental health organization founded by Drs. Lata McGinn and Alec L. Miller, specialists in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Its clinicians provide evidence-based, personalized care for children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups, with in-person offices in White Plains and Manhattan and telehealth options.

CBC offers individual therapy, structured group programs, family-centered interventions, and specialized treatment using CBT, DBT, and other approaches, including exposure and response prevention and acceptance and commitment therapy. Services address anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, emotional and behavioral difficulties, attention and learning challenges, and other concerns. The organization also provides strengths-focused clinical and neuropsychological evaluations, educational consultation, executive function coaching, and parent training, with practical recommendations to guide care.

Beyond direct clinical services, CBC creates customized programs for schools, agencies, and businesses. It supports professionals, students, and organizations through continuing education, workshops, intensive training, supervision, and consultation. Across its services, CBC emphasizes practical skills, individualized plans, and lasting improvements in wellbeing and daily functioning.
