## Description

**Coimbatore Marathon**

The Coimbatore Marathon is a premier sporting event in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, celebrated annually in December. Established in 2013, it has evolved into the largest marathon in the region and a highly anticipated occasion for running enthusiasts. The marathon uniquely combines a passion for fitness with a commitment to social causes, primarily raising awareness and funds for cancer treatment through the Coimbatore Cancer Foundation (CCF).

Each year, the event unites participants from diverse backgrounds, fostering a vibrant community spirit and encouraging healthy lifestyles. The marathon has successfully raised over 4 crores for cancer patients, supporting various treatments and community initiatives aimed at improving cancer care. Even amidst the challenges presented by the pandemic, the Coimbatore Marathon adapted with virtual editions, demonstrating resilience and a continued commitment to its cause.

Managed by CCF and Coimbatore Runners, the marathon is designed to enhance participant experience, preserve its legacy, and inspire a renewed dedication to both running and philanthropy in the community. Join the movement and make an impact!
