## Description

CoinFund is an investment firm focused on decentralized networks, founded in 2015 by investors who saw the potential of blockchain and decentralization. With a presence in New York City and Miami, the firm backs founders building across finance, infrastructure, and artificial intelligence. Its portfolio includes companies such as Coinbase, Blockdaemon, Ondo, Ether.fi, Gensyn, and Prime Intellect.

CoinFund combines experience in engineering, finance, venture investing, and deep technology to support companies developing open, permissionless networks and related products. Its areas of focus include decentralized infrastructure, onchain finance, crypto infrastructure, tokenized financial markets, blockchain-based payments, yield, real-money gaming, and tokenized capital formation.

Beyond providing investment, CoinFund aims to partner with founders as they build durable, sustainable businesses with lasting value. The firm’s leaders bring experience as company builders and investors, and work to help turn ambitious ideas into operating companies. Through its investing, founder partnerships, and published insights, CoinFund supports technology intended to make systems more accessible, efficient, and equitable.
