## Description

Coinye is a community-maintained information hub for the cryptocurrency launched in 2014 as a Litecoin fork. Its site describes the coin’s technical details, including its Scrypt algorithm, roughly 90-second block times, supply limit and reward schedule, and provides resources for people interested in using or supporting the network. Coinye is presented as still generating blocks, despite its original developers having left shortly after launch.

The site offers links to wallet software for Windows, Linux and Mac, along with source-code repositories, technical documentation and guidance for connecting wallets to active nodes. It also directs users to block explorers, mining pools, faucets and community channels, and explains options for depositing, withdrawing or transferring Coinye through third-party services. An exchange listing is noted as currently delisted because of unstable block times.

Alongside practical resources, the site includes FAQs, testnet information and links to community discussions. It describes itself as a centralized directory for otherwise decentralized Coinye information, while cautioning users that third-party software and services may not be guaranteed.
