## Description

The British Resistance Archive, maintained by the Coleshill Auxiliary Research Team (CART), is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of Churchill's Secret Army, formally known as the Auxiliary Units, which were established during World War II to counter potential Nazi invasions. The archive provides comprehensive information on Operational Patrols and personnel, as well as meticulous details about Coleshill House, the organization’s headquarters.

Key sections of the archive include the Special Duties Branch—a covert civilian spy network—and insights into the Special Air Services (SAS) and Special Operations Executive (SOE), which conducted critical missions in occupied Europe. Visitors can explore an extensive range of resources, including virtual tours and detailed equipment descriptions unique to the Auxiliary Units. CART operates this initiative through volunteer efforts and welcomes donations and purchases to support its upkeep. The British Resistance Archive is not only a tribute to historical resilience but also a valuable educational resource for those interested in WWII history.
