## Description

Les Collectionneurs Bergeracois is an association based in Bergerac, in France’s Dordogne region, bringing together people with an interest in collecting and local history. Founded through the initiative of a small group of enthusiasts, the club has grown into a nationally recognised organisation, known for its active work and the quality of its events. The region’s rich historical heritage, including Bergerac’s medieval mint, provides a fitting setting for collectors seeking to explore and preserve objects from the past.

The association welcomes members interested in numismatics, bookbinding and placomusophily, the collection of bottle caps. Its activities include dedicated spaces for these interests, opportunities to learn and share knowledge, and regular meetings in Bergerac and Périgueux. The club also organises collectors’ fairs and an annual programme that includes a book fair for old and modern books. Through its events, shared expertise and membership activities, Les Collectionneurs Bergeracois offers a place for enthusiasts to connect, develop their interests and celebrate collecting in all its forms.
