## Description

System Simulation Ltd (SSL) develops software and services that help museums, archives, libraries and other collecting organisations manage and share their collections. Its flagship product, CollectionsIndex+, is a flexible, modular collections management system and digital asset management solution, designed for collections of varied sizes and types. It brings object, archive, book and film catalogues together while supporting relevant standards, including Spectrum, ISAD(G), MARC 21 and EN15907.

Features include workflow management, cross-collection search, reporting, international character support, image and audiovisual asset management, and options for role-based permissions and auditing. Organisations can share holdings through CollectionsOnline, a configurable public-facing collections website, as well as a IIIF server and REST API. Optional picture-library and e-commerce modules support image licensing and sales. SSL also provides collections consultancy, including advice on procedures, system use, grant submissions and accreditation. In addition to cultural heritage applications, CollectionsIndex+ offers image and asset management for policing and law enforcement. The company serves UK and international clients, with UK-based support and hosting options.
