## Description

Collegium Ramazzini is an international scientific academy that was established in 1982 with the goal of advancing knowledge in the field of occupational and environmental health. Comprised of esteemed physicians and scientists from 35 countries, the academy is headquartered in the historic Castello di Bentivoglio, near Bologna, Italy. Named in honor of Dr. Bernardino Ramazzini, the Father of Occupational Medicine, the Collegium Ramazzini aims to increase scientific knowledge about the causes of diseases related to the environment and the workplace. Their mission is to protect public health, prevent disease, and ultimately save lives by sharing this knowledge with decision-makers, the media, and the global public. As an independent organization free from commercial interests, the Collegium Ramazzini offers scientifically based solutions to global challenges in occupational and environmental health. They provide training courses, hold conferences, symposia, and workshops, and publish conference proceedings and statements to promote academic collaboration and support their mission. They also honor exceptional contributions to occupational and environmental health with awards, including the prestigious Ramazzini Award and Selikoff Award. Join the Collegium Ramazzini at their upcoming international conference, Ramazzini Days, in October 2023 to learn more about the strategies needed to confront the global crisis in occupational and environmental health.
