## Description

Colonial Road Runners is a running club serving communities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts. It welcomes runners of all ages, abilities, paces, and experience levels, offering friendship, support, and opportunities to train and compete. New runners can connect with experienced members for guidance on training effectively and safely, while competitive athletes can enjoy camaraderie and intra-club and inter-club racing. The club is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive community that respects diverse identities and circumstances.

Activities include Saturday group runs at Woodsdale School, Thursday evening track workouts at Abington High School, and seasonal summer and winter fun runs. Training opportunities also include a beginners’ running program, kids’ track series, Boston Marathon course runs, and plans by Hal Higdon. Colonial Road Runners organizes events such as the Paddy Kelly Road Race, Houghton’s Pond Trail Races, and the Frosty Half Marathon. Members can also take part in club awards, social gatherings, monthly meetings, and an annual banquet. News, race results, and member accomplishments are shared through the club’s newsletter, email, social media, and website.
