## Description

Colorado Trout Unlimited is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to protecting, conserving, and restoring coldwater fisheries and the watersheds that sustain them. Guided by the principle that healthy fish need healthy water, the organization brings together volunteers, community leaders, and young people to support rivers and aquatic habitats across the state.

Its work spans habitat restoration, native trout conservation, public lands protection, and river and water advocacy. Colorado Trout Unlimited also delivers outdoor and conservation education, including Trout in the Classroom and a conservation and fly-fishing camp. Through its chapters, events, and volunteer opportunities, supporters can participate in local projects, learn about watershed issues, and speak up on proposed policies affecting rivers and public lands.
