## Description

Colourcities creates illustrated colouring books that invite people to explore Dutch cities through their streets, landmarks and lesser-known corners. The brand began in Haarlem with the idea that the character of a place deserves more than a photograph, and its drawings are made with close attention to local buildings, bridges and terraces. Its first title, Colourcities Haarlem, features 33 recognisable locations, from the Grote Markt, St. Bavo and Teylers Museum to local cafés, courtyards and hidden streets.

Each location is presented across two pages: one includes a street map pinpointing the place and a short story in Dutch and English; the other offers a detailed A4 line drawing to colour. The book has a hard cover and Wire-O binding, so it lies flat, and uses sturdy 170-gram paper designed to prevent marker ink from showing through. It is intended for individual or shared enjoyment and can also be given as a gift.
