## Description

The Colegio Oficial de Médicos de Granada is a longstanding institution established in 1894, dedicated to defending the interests of the medical profession in Granada. Serving as a central hub for medical professionals, the organization offers a wide range of services including legal and fiscal advice, educational resources, and ongoing training through its teaching commission. The college also provides support systems like the Unit for Medical Attention and Support, which assists doctors facing professional challenges and aggression.

In addition, the Colegio is involved in public health education, exemplified by recent informative sessions on critical issues such as the Ebola outbreak, aimed at updating healthcare professionals on safety protocols and treatment options. This commitment to public health is complemented by its role in facilitating scholarships, awards, and cooperative initiatives to enhance medical practice in the region. With strong community ties, the institution plays a vital role in advancing medical standards and supporting healthcare workers in Granada.
