## Description

CBUB, or the Comic Book Universe Battles, is a vibrant online community founded in 1997, dedicated to the enthusiastic discussion and exploration of characters from comics, science fiction, fantasy, anime, and more. This engaging platform offers an extensive Character Database, indexing hundreds of characters along with their win/loss records, allowing fans to delve into the abilities and rivalries of their favorite heroes and villains.

Participants can create and join discussions in forums, utilizing the CBUB Match Builder to set up rated matches where judges assess the quality of combat scenarios. Players can form Fantasy Teams, akin to superhero leagues, competing against others over several months. Additionally, CBUB hosts thematic tournaments with potential prizes, alongside a Back Issues Archive that features historical match play-by-plays.

The arena setting of Khazan enhances the experience, inspired by classic adventure writings. CBUB continues to evolve as a hub for fans, encouraging creativity and camaraderie among those who love character confrontations in various genres.
