## Description

The European Communication Monitor (ECM) is a distinguished joint research initiative focused on strategic communication and management, led by a collaboration of premier academic and professional organizations across Europe. Established in 2007, the ECM is recognized as a crucial resource for communication professionals, offering valuable insights into the latest challenges and trends affecting the industry.

Each year, the ECM gathers data through in-depth interviews with elite communication leaders from top companies, replacing traditional statistical surveys to provide a qualitative understanding of the field. This non-commercial study is backed by a consortium of six eminent professors from various European countries, ensuring high-quality, neutral research. The findings are disseminated in widely downloaded reports and peer-reviewed articles, contributing to a deeper understanding of communication excellence.

Supported by partners like EUPRERA and leading industry organizations, the ECM emphasizes the role of strategic communication in corporate success, nurturing knowledge transfer and collaboration across sectors to enhance communication practices globally.
