## Description

Communities for People (CFP) is a nonprofit organization serving youth, young adults, and families in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. For 50 years, it has worked to support children and adolescents in foster care and help families build stability and thrive in their communities. CFP offers foster care for children and youth ages 0–20, including relief and professional foster-parent programs, alongside community-based residential services for young people. Its residential programs include group homes, emergency shelters, and independent living support.

Family and prevention services include home-based support using evidence-based treatment models, counseling and wellness services, family networks, and Rhode Island’s Family Care Community Partnership.
