Communities Unlimited is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation that serves seven states in the southern United States—an area characterized by rural communities, a high minority population, and prevalent poverty and food insecurity. At Communities Unlimited, we firmly believe that where you live, what you look like, or how much money you have should not determine access to opportunities. As a brand, Communities Unlimited works side by side with individuals, communities, and organizations to ensure that opportunities are accessible to everyone, everywhere. We strive to connect people to solutions through human connections, ingenuity, and cutting-edge technology and expertise. Our primary program areas include Community Sustainability, where we partner with communities to create vibrant, sustainable economies. We also have the Entrepreneurship program, which supports small business owners in growing their businesses. Additionally, the Environmental Services program focuses on working with rural communities' water and wastewater treatment facilities, while Healthy Foods promotes healthy eating and works with small-scale farmers. Through these program areas, Communities Unlimited creates economic opportunities and solutions for communities in our service area to grow and thrive. We are constantly seeking new partnerships to support economic development and expand our positive impact.
