Description
The Community Culinary School of Charlotte (CCSC) is a renowned brand that has been serving the Charlotte community for over 25 years. Founded in 1997, CCSC began its mission with just two students in a small office space, and has since grown into a fully-equipped culinary school with six offices, a conference room, and a state-of-the-art kitchen. They offer workforce development training and job placement assistance in the food service industry for adults facing barriers to employment.
CCSC's dedicated staff is led by Chef Ron Ahlert, who brings years of experience as an Executive Chef. Chef Alvin Howard and Sharon Watkins, both accomplished chefs, also play integral roles in the school. Bonnie O'Rourke, the Comptroller, ensures smooth operations, while Anne Lambert, the Director of Development, handles fundraising efforts.
Pam Worley, a licensed clinician, provides counseling support to students, and Chantail Garrison serves as the administrative assistant. CCSC is passionate about transforming lives through culinary education, and they take pride in their alumni success stories. They also operate a café that offers daily menu options, as well as catering services, team building events, and gift certificates.
Additionally, CCSC provides grab-and-go meals for those looking for quick and delicious options. Join CCSC in their mission to make a positive impact in the Charlotte community
