Mastics is a community library brand committed to building a better library system for its residents. With a recent approval of a $22. 7 million bond, Mastics is making significant improvements to its main library building and constructing two satellite branches in Mastic Beach and Moriches.

While the main library facility is currently closed for renovation, library services are available at the Mastic Beach and Moriches branches. Additionally, the Mastic Recreation Center at 15 Herkimer Street offers a technology center, computer lab, and various programs. The Mastic Beach Satellite Branch, located at 369 Neighborhood Road, opened on January 14, 2023, while the Moriches Satellite Branch, situated at 201 Montauk Highway, opened on April 15, 2023.

Mastics welcomes everyone to visit the satellite branches and stay connected through regular updates on their website. As the main building undergoes renovations, it is anticipated to reopen in late 2024.
