## Description

Community Pet Project Inc is an all-volunteer 501c3 charitable organization based in Seffner, FL, serving Hillsborough County. Since its establishment in 2017, the organization has been dedicated to assisting the pets of homeless and at-risk individuals. Many of these individuals face difficulties in caring for their pets, often leading to surrendering them to local shelters. Recognizing the importance of pets in their lives, Community Pet Project volunteers work diligently to help these individuals keep and care for their beloved companions. The organization actively participates in quarterly community outreach events organized by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and the Tampa Police Department. During these events, volunteers provide homeless and at-risk families with pet food, flea prevention, wormers, grooming supplies, treats, toys, and information on veterinary care and spay/neuter surgeries. In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Community Pet Project extended its support to anyone in Hillsborough County who has been affected by COVID-19 with a loss of income or medical needs. The organization operates a food bank, offering free pet food to those in need. They provide both delivery and pick-up options, with requests accepted by email. Your contribution, whether financial or in the form of product donations, is greatly appreciated and helps in fulfilling the mission of Community Pet Project Inc. The organization bears a federal tax ID number (83-0633374), and it is registered with the Division of Consumer Services in Florida (CH55280). Community Pet Project Inc does not transfer any goods or services to donors in connection with donations. Obtain a copy of the official registration and financial information by calling 1-800-435-7352 within the state of Florida. Registration does not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation by the state. By supporting Community Pet Project Inc, you play a crucial role in making a positive impact on the lives of pets and their owners in Hillsborough County. Together, we can ensure that these cherished companions receive the care and support they deserve.
