## Description

The Comox Valley Hockey League (CVHL) is an adult recreational hockey league serving Courtenay, Comox, Cumberland, and surrounding communities in Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Launched in fall 2021 with 12 teams, it has grown to 26 teams competing across three tiers. The league is designed for intermediate and recreational players, with a focus on safe, enjoyable participation and staying active through sport.

The CVHL is a partnership between the Comox Valley Regional District, the Comox Valley Sports and Social Club, and 19 Wing Comox, working to make organized hockey more accessible to local adults. Games are non-contact and overseen by two referees, with rules and discipline procedures intended to support safe play and address misconduct. The league also recognizes teams for fun and sportsmanship.

Players can register individually or as teams, and those who missed registration may sign up as spares or substitutes. The website offers schedules, standings, statistics, league rules, player information, photos, and registration resources.
